Your responsibilities

  • Stra­tegic devel­op­ment of new and exist­ing key accounts
  • Plan­ning, devel­op­ment, and imple­ment­a­tion of cus­tom­er-spe­cif­ic account strategies in col­lab­or­a­tion with depart­ment management
  • Busi­ness devel­op­ment (iden­ti­fic­a­tion and ana­lys­is of new busi­ness oppor­tun­it­ies and tech­nic­al applic­a­tions, trans­lat­ing them into acquis­i­tion roadmaps)
  • Con­duct­ing mar­ket and com­pet­it­ive analyses
  • Fore­cast planning
  • Man­aging and over­see­ing cus­tom­er pro­jects from the ini­tial idea to product approval
  • Ini­ti­at­ing and coordin­at­ing the pro­pos­al process
  • Inde­pend­ently hand­ling price and con­tract negotiations

Your profile

  • Com­pleted degree in engin­eer­ing, busi­ness admin­is­tra­tion, or a tech­nic­al field (BA, FH, TH, uni­ver­sity) or a com­par­able qualification
  • At least five years of sol­id pro­fes­sion­al exper­i­ence in con­sultat­ive, tech­nic­ally-ori­ented sales, ideally in the BMW or Mer­cedes-Benz Group envir­on­ment with a proven net­work of contacts
  • Ideally, exper­i­ence in the fields of plastics, elec­tron­ic and mechat­ron­ic com­pon­ents (interi­or con­trol ele­ments), as well as assem­blies (sensor tech­no­logy and con­trol units)
  • Busi­ness-flu­ent Ger­man and Eng­lish skills; addi­tion­al for­eign lan­guages are an advantage
  • Will­ing­ness to travel
