Your responsibilities

  • Mon­it­or­ing and con­trolling the smooth flow of goods and inform­a­tion with suppliers
  • Review­ing and ensur­ing mater­i­al availability
  • On-time plan­ning of extern­al and intern­al sup­pli­ers based on cus­tom­er demand in close coordin­a­tion with Cus­tom­er Ser­vice and Production
  • Steer­ing intern­al pro­duc­tion areas as part of mater­i­al and demand planning
  • Review­ing and pro­cessing cus­tom­er call-offs (deliv­ery schedules/releases)
  • Cla­ri­fy­ing inquir­ies and coordin­at­ing with customers
  • Plan­ning and coordin­at­ing logist­ics top­ics (includ­ing pack­aging, mater­i­al flow and invent­ory levels)
  • Sup­port­ing optim­iz­a­tion pro­jects in the field of mater­i­als plan­ning and logistics
  • Provid­ing tem­por­ary sup­port in ship­ping operations

Your profile

  • Suc­cess­fully com­pleted com­mer­cial voca­tion­al training
  • Ini­tial pro­fes­sion­al exper­i­ence in mater­i­als plan­ning, mater­i­als man­age­ment or sales back office is an advantage
  • Quick com­pre­hen­sion and struc­tured way of working
  • Know­ledge of SAP R/3 mod­ules MM, PP and SD is desirable
  • Con­fid­ent use of MS Office
  • Good Eng­lish lan­guage skills
  • Team play­er with strong com­mu­nic­a­tion skills
