Your responsibilities

  • Tech­nic­al and dis­cip­lin­ary lead­er­ship of the entire devel­op­ment organ­iz­a­tion, includ­ing coordin­a­tion of all devel­op­ment activities
  • Driv­ing innov­a­tion and estab­lish­ing a mod­ern, future-ori­ented devel­op­ment culture
  • Stra­tegic realign­ment of the devel­op­ment organ­iz­a­tion with a focus on per­son­nel, effi­ciency, and cost optimization
  • Respons­ib­il­ity for devel­op­ment res­ults, budgets, timelines, and resource planning
  • Devel­op­ment of innov­at­ive con­cepts and future-proof tech­nic­al solutions
  • Close cooper­a­tion with Sales, Qual­ity, Pro­duc­tion, and Pur­chas­ing across the entire value chain
  • Act­ive sup­port for Sales in present­ing our innov­at­ive tech­nic­al solu­tions to customers
  • Stra­tegic advis­ory sup­port to man­age­ment on innov­a­tion, tech­no­logy, and future-related topics

Your profile

  • Degree in Elec­tric­al Engin­eer­ing, (Indus­tri­al) Engin­eer­ing, Mech­an­ic­al Engin­eer­ing, Mechat­ron­ics, or a com­par­able qualification
  • Sev­er­al years of lead­er­ship exper­i­ence in auto­mot­ive development
  • Strong tech­nic­al under­stand­ing – exper­i­ence in mech­an­ics, elec­tron­ics, sensor tech­no­logy, and software
  • Con­fid­ent lead­er­ship per­son­al­ity with strong com­mu­nic­a­tion skills, nego­ti­ation abil­it­ies, and sound decision-making
  • High level of resi­li­ence, ini­ti­at­ive, and a struc­tured, res­ults-ori­ented work­ing approach
  • Busi­ness-flu­ent Eng­lish skills
